L’Occitane – Quilted Pouch with Gusset

L’Occitane offers natural beauty products dedicated to well-being, drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean art-de-vivre and traditions.

With products which are rich in natural active ingredients and essential oils, L’Occitane’s body, skincare, bath and hair ranges feature luxurious fragrances and textures from natural ingredients such as almond, shea butter, lavender and immortelle.

Maxipos and L’Occitane have worked together since 2008, and we have completed over 200 projects across a wide range of promotional items and packaging products.

We have mainly dealt with the UK head office but we have also produced several items for their marketing team in the US. One such project was a promotional GWP pouch which formed the centre piece of their Cologne range launch.

L’Occitane required a leather-effect pouch with diamond quilting in 2 colour ways, lime green and lemon yellow, to reflect the 2 different Colognes that were being launched. Through our factories in China, we provided a selection of material swatches in various materials and colours for L’Occitane to choose from. The approved material was a faux leather PU which we used for the main body of the bag.

We then added stitching to create the diamond quilting effect and a branded patch with the L’Occitane logo printed in white. A metallic L’Occitane branded zip pull was added and we colour-matched the zips and internal lining with the colour of the pouches. Each pouch was individually polybagged by our factory before being packed in shipping cartons. In total, 19,000 units were produced and delivered to the US within 10 weeks from order confirmation and final sample approval.
