Since 2015, Maxipos has been providing Blink Brow Bar with various marketing materials including tissue paper, gift card holders, carrier bags as well as their entire range of product cartons. In 2017, we produced the Christmas gift boxes for one of their most important promotions during the year.
The following year, Blink Brow Bar returned to Maxipos to ask us to come up with a new concept for their Christmas gift boxes that also suited their reduced budget.
They specifically wanted their boxes to emphasise the gifting side of Christmas, so Maxipos suggested the idea of a free-standing cracker box with a grosgrain ribbon. This allowed the gift boxes to look premium, whilst still remaining cost effective.
A side seam hexagonal glued carton with grosgrain ribbon was produced in two designs for Blink Brow Bar by one of our Polish suppliers. The folding box board material chosen for both designs was 300gsm Arktika.
Matt lamination was applied on the outside of the gift box and Blink Brow Bar’s logo was embossed onto the front panel of the hexagonal cracker.
Maxipos also recommended that Blink Brow Bar use silver foiling in their artwork on the main panels of the cracker to give the gifting cracker a strong shelf presence.
The factory then cut, creased and glued 3,000 units of the crackers, before packing them flat into cartons, palletising and delivering to their UK warehouse. The crackers proved to be a great success and formed the cornerstone of Blink Brow Bar’s Christmas offering.
