After being diagnosed with several food intolerances, the founder of Livia’s left behind a career in neuroscience to create indulgent, plant-based treats made with natural ingredients.
Since then, the brand has expanded and now includes several different types of sweet and gluten free treats. For Christmas 2019, Livia’s wanted to create a delicious advent calendar filled to the brim with a combination of their innovative products.
Maxipos proposed several different designs for the calendar by providing plain samples to show the varied styles available.
After reviewing the samples, Livia’s decided to go with a block-wall folding box board jacket box with 24 individual cartons to house the treats.
To complete the classic advent calendar look, all of the FBB individual cartons were drawers of different sizes, with the 24th drawer being larger than the others. This added to the user experience and made the entire product easier to reuse, opposed to those advent calendars where the doors are broken open.
The advent calendar was printed with a full colour CMYK artwork and all of the elements had machine varnish applied to make it more durable and recyclable. The calendar contributed to a highly successful Christmas for Livia’s.
