As part of the Shiseido Group, NARS is known world-wide for its luxury make-up, which focuses on bringing out each customers individual personality using cosmetics.
The collections are timeless but still manage to be provocative and original by using new colours and textures. The products are high-end and the sleek packaging they are housed in radiate luxury.
NARS contacted Maxipos in 2019 as they wanted to produce an advent calendar for the French and UK markets, which also needed to align with their global strategy. We initially sampled several different types of advent calendar layouts to fit the products NARS wanted to include and would complement their global Christmas campaign.
After reviewing the initial plain samples, NARS decided to progress with a luxury rigid book jacket box complete with 12 small, individual FBB cartons in various sizes inside.
The interior of the box was lined with 130gsm glistening Gold Miri paper to enhance the festive feel of the calendar. The rest of the box and individual cartons were finished in black with gold foil details and soft touch lamination for a luxury user experience.
NARS ordered 2,000 units of the advent calendar and also asked Maxipos to help complete the fulfilment, making sure all the individual cartons were filled with the appropriate products before they were sent to NARS’ warehouse in France.
