Growing up on opposite sides of the world, Molly and Joel met in Canada before starting the Desmond & Dempsey range of premium nightwear. The brand was born out of Molly’s love for wearing Joel’s shirts which inspired them to create a womenswear nightwear brand that takes inspiration from a man’s shirt.
Inspired by lazy Sunday mornings, Desmond & Dempsey seamlessly combine sexy with comfortable. Their prints are exclusive, hand-painted in London and use top quality cottons which means their pyjamas are made to last.
In early 2018 Desmond & Dempsey asked Maxipos to create a rigid gift box for their luxury pyjamas and underwear.
The UK factory that Maxipos worked with during this project used a 1500mic white lined grey board for the construction of both the lid and the box itself. One of Desmond & Dempsey’s artworks was then printed CMYK with a matt lamination to the exterior of the box and lid.
Each gift box was then placed in cartons to be bulk packed in pallets ready for delivery. Overall, 1,000 units were produced and the boxes have since been re-ordered in multiple different artworks.
