Beauty Pie is the new disruptor of the beauty industry with their innovative subscription-based members’ club. Offering luxury skincare and cosmetic ranges, their products are on par with the big brands of beauty… except there is a twist: they offer members an exclusive price which is much lower than the ‘typical’ price. Due to this business model Beauty Pie have quickly obtained a large and loyal following.
Beauty contacted Maxipos to produce this rigid slipcase and drawer box to hold four of their signature lip and nail products.
Each box was made from 2000-micron unlined greyboard material and wrapped and lined with UPM Fine Offset material. The wrap was split across two artwork designs, ‘Evening Glamour’ and ‘Go To Nudes’, which were printed using vegetable based inks in a green and pink pantone respectively.
Both artworks were then finished with a Prism Gold Holographic foil which wrapped around all faces of the slipcase. A grosgrain ribbon pull specific to each design was glued into the centre of each tray for a luxury finishing touch.
Due to being part of a larger Christmas fulfilment project that Maxipos managed for Beauty Pie, the products inside the slipcase were wrapped in Beauty Pie’s tissue paper, and the finished product was packed into a polybag for protection during transit. In total we produced 8,240 units of the gift boxes for the client.
