Sowvital are a plant sciences brand focused on providing their consumers with an educational and ritualistic framework to help them reconnect with their plants. By providing premium and proven formulations they create a care routine that is effective, while also promoting a mindful approach to plant care.
Their products are animal free and vegan certified, and they use circular economy ingredients to reduce their CO2 footprint. Their three-step plant care routine was recently featured in Vogue, where Sowvital founder Lewis described their packaging as a “visual language which both celebrated the scientific roots of the product but also made it highly apt for display in a chic Parisian apartment”.
Maxipos were therefore delighted when Sowvital reached out to ask for assistance in creating an urgently required gift box to house the plant Cleanser, Elixir and Spritz glass bottles from their three-step kit.
Maxipos produced a rigid base made from 2000-micron white lined greyboard and a fitment created from 1500-micron white lined display board with an under plinth so that the smallest of the three bottles was supported effectively. The fitment tabs were scored rather than creased which gave them a distinctive sharp, neat edge.
The outside of the box and fitment were litho printed using CMYK and a soft touch lamination was layered on top to provide a premium finish.
As well as producing the box to hold the products, Maxipos also produced a sleeve in two different artworks for the English and French market. The sleeve was produced in 235gsm Scancote Elegance GC1 material and each design was printed using the 4-colour process plus one pantone.
